Hi, I am Shelley, co-owner of Our Hobby to your Home...............When my children were younger, I was fortunate enough to be able to stay home with them. However, I couldn't afford to buy all the beautiful things that I saw at the crafts show's and boutique's. So, I decided if I wanted them, I would have to make them myself.

When my children became older, I worked outside the home and didn't have time to spend painting/crafting anymore and I missed it so much!

Little by little, that burning desire became stronger and stronger and I had to share it! I talked to anyone who would listen to my dream and quite a few who didn't. I made the decision that was no longer an option; I had to pursue my passion of creating beautiful signs! I absolutely love weddings and want each bride to have a unique and special personalized sign  she can use for her wedding and  hang in her house to make it a home! Each sign is personalized by font, color and size! I  absolutely love to make a customer's day even more special by creating a sign that is just for them.

I want to thank my friends and family for all their patience and support with this venture. My daughter Jessica will be helping with the business in between work and college and her sister Stephanie is always willing to get a paint brush wet! Last but not least I want to thank my husband Matt, who has been known to cut, drill and router a board or two!!

I will be posting new pictures of all my signs to my webpage once they are completed, as they are near and dear to my heart!! Each one means something different and I just want the bride to be completely satisfied with her sign on her special day! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it!!
